This explains what With Your Nature collects, why, and what it never does. It is written to be understood. If anything here is unclear, ask, and it will be rewritten rather than explained.
Who is responsible
With Your Nature is run by Revel Studios Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 16329250, with its registered office at Suite Ff5, Crafton House, Mentmore Way, Poringland, Norwich, NR14 7XP. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Revel Studios Ltd is the data controller. Contact: hello@withyournature.com.
What is collected
- Your name and email address, so the morning note can reach you and open properly.
- Your date of birth, which is the only way to work out biorhythm cycles and a star sign.
- Your answers to the setup questions, including what you write about the shape of your week.
- Read-only access to your Google Calendar: the titles, times and dates of entries in the day ahead. Nothing is written to your calendar, nothing is changed, and nothing is deleted.
- Your rough location, used only to work out sunrise, sunset and weather.
What is never collected
No health data. No sleep tracking, no wearables, no heart rate, no mood or stress ratings, no menstrual cycle data. This is a planning tool, not a health product, and it is built so that it never needs any of that. You are never asked to log anything.
How Google Calendar data is used
Calendar information is used for one purpose: to write your morning note. It is read shortly before that note is sent, used to work out the shape of your day, and stored only as part of the note itself so that you can open it again later.
Use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Calendar data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to build a profile of you for anyone else's purposes.
Artificial intelligence, and what it sees
The wording of each morning note is generated by a large language model provided by Anthropic. To write it, the model is sent the titles and times of that day's calendar entries, along with what you told us at setup. You should know this before you connect a calendar, particularly if your entries contain confidential client or personal information.
Anthropic does not use this content to train its models. If you would rather no calendar content left your own systems at all, this product is not currently able to offer that, and it is better that you know now.
Who else is involved
Running the service means using other companies, each handling a specific part:
- Google, for the calendar connection you authorise.
- Supabase, which stores your details on servers in London.
- Vercel, which runs the website and the daily job.
- Anthropic, which generates the wording of the note.
- Resend, which delivers the email.
- Open-Meteo, for weather. It receives an approximate location and nothing about you.
Anthropic and Resend are based in the United States, so some processing happens outside the UK under the safeguards those companies provide. Nobody is sent your information to use for their own purposes.
Why this is lawful
Your consent, given when you sign up and when you connect a calendar. You can withdraw it at any time, and doing so is not made difficult.
How long anything is kept
Your details are kept while you are using the service. Morning notes are kept so you can open them again. If you ask to be removed, everything held about you is deleted within thirty days, and the Google connection is revoked immediately.
Disconnecting
You can remove access from your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, without asking us. To have everything deleted as well, email hello@withyournature.com.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and object to how it is used. Email the address above and it will be dealt with. If you are unhappy with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
Access to your calendar is held as a token that can be revoked, rather than a password. Data is encrypted in transit. Links to your day page contain a long random code, so treat one as private: anyone who has the link can see that day.
Changes
If this changes in a way that affects what happens to your information, you will be told by email rather than quietly, through an updated date at the top of this page.
